Ethics & Policies
Skripta is committed to maintaining the highest standards of research integrity, publication ethics, and open scholarship. Our policies follow guidelines established by COPE, ICMJE, WAME, and the Budapest Open Access Initiative.
Editorial Integrity & Review Standards
Publication Ethics & Integrity
Comprehensive code of conduct for authors, editors, and reviewers adhering to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Core Practices.
Editorial Independence
Complete structural autonomy of Editors-in-Chief and scientific advisory boards from publisher operational and financial activities.
Single-Blind Peer Review
EOJNSS uses single-blind review with two anonymous external reviewers. Reviewers may see author identities; authors do not see reviewer identities.
Authorship & Contributor Transparency
Only genuine intellectual contributors should be listed as authors, and all authors should approve the final work and accept responsibility for it.
Conflicts of Interest
Mandatory disclosure of any financial, personal, or institutional affiliations that could influence manuscript review or publication.
AI & Automated Tools Policy
Explicit restrictions: Generative AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Full disclosure of any AI assistance is required.
Access, Rights & Preservation
Immediate Open Access & CC BY-SA 4.0
EOJNSS makes articles immediately available to readers under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. Authors retain copyright.
Article Publication Fee
The current EOJNSS Article Publication Fee is 50 USD. The journal states that the fee is not refundable after acceptance; authors should consult the OJS page for current payment information.
Digital Preservation
EOJNSS identifies LOCKSS as its long-term preservation mechanism. DOI registration and metadata services support discovery but are not themselves indexing claims.
Corrections & Retractions
Transparent post-publication mechanisms for issuing errata, corrigenda, expressions of concern, or retractions following COPE workflows.
Complaints & Appeals
Formal channels for submitting appeals against editorial decisions, or lodging complaints regarding peer review conduct.
Privacy & GDPR Compliance
European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance governing user accounts, author records, and editorial communications.
Core Policy Summaries
Peer Review Standards
EOJNSS appoints reviewers for relevant research expertise and requires competing-interest declarations. Its single-blind protocol allows reviewers to see author identities while keeping reviewer identities confidential from authors. Submissions are checked for plagiarism before external review in accordance with the journal’s editorial policy.
Conflict of Interest Protocol
All participants in the publication process—including authors, peer reviewers, and editors—must declare any financial or personal ties that could compromise intellectual objectivity. Editors recuse themselves from decisions regarding manuscripts authored by collaborators, colleagues, or institutional affiliates.
Artificial Intelligence Policy
Generative artificial intelligence and LLM software cannot be granted authorship status. Any utilization of AI tools in manuscript development, drafting, or data visualization must be explicitly documented in the manuscript. Submitting AI-generated fabrications or falsified references is considered serious scientific malpractice.
Open Access & Fee Transparency
EOJNSS currently charges a 50 USD Article Publication Fee. The fee is not refundable after acceptance. This publisher page does not promise automatic waivers; any exception or waiver must be confirmed by the journal before submission.
